Irene E. Maillet, 83, of ProTem Health Services, Moncton, passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday January 13, 2011. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Albanie and Leozee (Fontaine) Maillet. Irene was retired from Marven's Ltd., with 32 years service and attended Notre-Dame-de l'Assomption Cathedral. She was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Royal Canadian Legion Moncton Branch #6, former member of the Air Force Veterans Club, the Moncton Lions Club and the Canadian Red Cross. Irene will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law, Rita (Maillet) MacMillan; nieces, Diane Doiron (Yvon) and Pauline Leger (Roderick); nephews, Norman Maillet and Paul Gagnon. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Gerald and Romeo.
