Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth Viger of Coles Island, passed away at the Oromocto Hospital on January 13, 2011 at the age of 80. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy (Ellis) Cole and the wife of the late Charles Viger. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Sharon Parsons of Hammonds Plains NS; three sons: Michael of Coles Island, Leslie of Edmonton and Kevin (Kathleen) of Edmonton; two brothers: Frank Cole (Irene) of Cambridge Narrows, Bob Cole (Joan) of Saint John; her sister, Beatrice Burrell of Summerside, PEI; five grandchildren: as well as several nieces and nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by an infant son Michael Charles; her sisters: Amy Johnson, Evelyn Cole, Marjorie Greensled, Jane Moski and by her brothers: Herbert, George, Bill and Phillip Cole.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) from where visitation will be held on Sunday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Wallace Community Chapel on Monday, January 17th, 2011 at 10:00am.
