Marion MacKinnon
We, the family of the late Dr. Marion MacKinnon would like to express heartfelt thanks for the kindness shown to us during the loss of our "Dear Mom".
Thank you to her special friend of many years Dr. Paul Murphy, to the staff of 4A and 3B at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Drs. Yepes and MacNeil as well as the CCU staff. To granddaughter Angela Lively thanks for all the visits and much help. We appreciate the gentle kindness and professionalism shown by all at T.W. Curry Park View Chapel. Thanks to grandson Sandy Jeffers for providing a lovely lunch during visitation. To daughters Ann Miller, Sasketchwan and Florence Roper, Port lice, BC for the beautiful floral arrangements and the warm words of regret for not being able to attend. Thanks to the pall bearers, sons Bryden Campbell Angus, grandsonsAdrian, Colin and Danny. Cross bearer, Jim Gillis; alter servers, sons Fabian and Charlie; readers, son Russel, granddaughter Stephanie Turnbull and good friend Sadie MacNeil ; gift bearers, granddaughters Jennifer Rudderham and Lori March; Eucharistic Ministers Emily MacLellan, Francis Gillis and Donna Niedzielski.
Thank you to Fr. Paul MacGillivary and former parish priests, Jim MacLean, Tom Lathigee and Bedford Doucette for their touching rendition of Salve Regina during the mass.Special thanks to the choir of St. Margaret's under the direction of Larken Gillis and the kindness of Patsy MacMullin. Our sister Alena Turnbull described Mom's life in a beautiful eulogy, we thanks her sincerely. "Mom was known for her hospitality and would be so pleased with the fabulous food presented by Grand Mira Ladies Aid, many thanks. With sincere appreciation we thanks all of you. her kind and caring family and oh so many friends, those who visited the hospital, sent flowers, food, donation cards, on line condolences and to all who attended the visitation and funeral. Your compassion and heartfelt words and comfort will long be remembered.
