The family of Stephen McEachern sadly announce his peaceful passing on Thursday, January 13th, 2011 at the Queensway Carleton Hospital in Ottawa, Ontario. Age 84 years. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Caroline McEachern. He is survived by his daughters Louise McEachern, Margaret McEachern, Deborah Timmons (Patrick), and Catherine McEachern, son Robert McEachern (Victoria) and grandchildren David, John, T.D., Courtney and Kenny McEachern and Kate, James, Alex and Lauren Timmons and sister Dorothy Engel. He was predeceased by his parents John James and Agnes Christine (McInnis) McEachern, both of St. Mary's Parish, Souris, brothers Gerard, Elmer, and William and daughter Ronalda. A memorial mass will be held at St. Dunstan's Basilica, Monday, Janaury 17th at 10:00 a.m. Friends and relatives of the family are invited to attend, side entrance, King Street. Internment in the spring in Ottawa. If so desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
