The family of Stephen McEachern sadly announce his peaceful passing on Thursday, January 13th, 2011 at the Queensway Carleton Hospital in Ottawa, Ontario. Age 84 years.
Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Caroline McEachern. He is survived by his daughters Louise McEachern, Margaret McEachern, Deborah Timmons (Patrick), and Catherine McEachern, son Robert McEachern (Victoria), grandchildren David, John, T.D., Courtney and Kenny McEachern, Kate, James, Alex and Lauren Timmons and sister Dorothy Engel. He was predeceased by his parents John James and Agnes Christine (McInnis) McEachern, both of St. Mary's Parish in Souris, brothers Gerard, Elmer and William and daughter Ronalda.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Dunstan's Basilica, Monday, January 17, at 10:00 a.m. Friends and relatives of the family are invited to attend, side entrance, Dorchester Street. Interment in the spring in Ottawa.
If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of your choice.
