WHITING, Eleanor (nee Meadus)- R.N. Aged 85. Died peacefully in hospital on January 10th, 2010, in Dublin, Ireland, after a short illness. Predeceased by husband Sid and sister Ruby, parents Frank and Sarah Meadus of Grates Cove. Leaving to mourn daughter Elizabeth (Frank) McCready; sons: Gerald (Sile), John (Tess), Robert (Julie), and Peter (Cliona); 20 grandchildren and
1 great-grandchild all of Brisbane, Australia; sister Elizabeth Avery of C.B.S., Newfoundland; brothers: Weldon (Mary) and Wilfred (Marj) of Ontario; as well as many nieces and nephews in N.L. and Ont.. Funeral to take place on Friday, January 14, Dublin, Ireland.
