Reta (Bourque) Sagala of Saint John passed away peacefully in her 94th year after a short stay at Carleton Kirk Lodge Nursing Home on January 14, 2011. Reta was born in St. John County on October 21, 1917, daughter of the late Placide and Eliza (Vautour) Bourque. She was the last member of her immediate family. She leaves a very special niece Lorraine Lord and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by brother Vincent, five half-brothers; Alex, Marcel, Albenie, Cyril, Anthony "Bourque" Burke, one half-sister Alma Lord and special nephew Roy Lord-Robins.
Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John West (634-1701). With visitation on Monday 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Our Lady of Assumption Church on Tuesday at 12:00 pm.
