SWEENEY, Margaret Jennie Scott (Fletcher) -84, formally of Cape Forchu passed away peacefully at the Villa Saint Joseph Du Lac on January 8, 2011. Born October 3, 1926 in South Ohio, Yarmouth Co., she was the daughter of the late Everet & Emma (Jeness) Fletcher. She is survived by sisters, Bessie Blauvelt, Brenton; Dorothy and Shirley Knowles, Ontario; brother, Randolf Fletcher, South Ohio, Yarmouth Co.; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Elton Sweeney; sister, Evelyn; brothers, William, Frank, and Donald. There will be no visitation by family request. Memorial services were held Tuesday at 3 p.m. in Sweeny's Funeral Chapel in Yarmouth, Rev A.D. "Bill" Newell officiated. Interment was in Our Lady Calvary Cemetery, Yarmouth. Family flowers only. Donations in memory may be made to the Villa Saint Joesph Du Lac or the Children's Wish Foundation. .
