ALLEN, James Lynn - 60, of Yarmouth passed away at home on January 7, 2011. Born April 9, 1950, in Lockhartville, Kings Co., he was a son of Jean Allen and the late James Henry Allen of Yarmouth. He was an industrial mechanic with Acadian Seaplants and his passion was restoring old vehicles. He is survived by former wife, Judy (Thibeau) Allen; daughter, Jennifer Allen (Matthew); son, Jeff (Stephanie) Allen; brothers, Brian (Eloise) Allen, Amherst; Barry (Crystal) Allen, Apple River; sister, Paulette (Richard) Babin; granddaughters, Sarah and Amanda Allen; grandson, Ashton Potter; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by father, James Henry Allen; brother, David Allen. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Sweeny's Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Yarmouth. Visitation took place Tuesday, January 11, from 7-9 p.m. in Sweeny's Funeral Home Chapel. A private graveside service was held Wednesday, January 12, at Arcadia Cemetery, Pastor AJ Plazier officiated. Family flowers only, please.
