The death occurred at the Garden Nursing Home on Friday, July 3, 2009, of Mr. Joseph C. (Joe) Horgan of Spring Park Road, Charlottetown, age 81 years.
Beloved husband of Bernadette (nee Hughes) Horgan.
He will also be sadly missed but fondly remembered by daughter, Mary Beth (John) MacMilllan; grandchildren, Emily Kate MacMillan, Jenna MacMillan and Joe MacMillan; and sister, Mary MacDonald.
He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Anne (McCabe) Horgan; brothers and sisters, Jim Horgan, Michael Horgan, Thomas Horgan, John Horgan, Patrick Horgan, Helena MacDonald, Stella MacDonald and Rita Hennessey.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 Monday morning, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the family plot at the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
If so desired, memorial contributions in Joe’s memory may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation.
