Florence passed away peacefully at the Beach Grove Home, Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011, at the age of 92 years. She resided at 63 Dorchester St., Charlottetown, for 55 years and is predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Patricia (Laughlin) Noonan, her husband, Sgt. Maj. Henry J. Blanchard, brother, Walter Noonan of Richmond, sister, Doris LeClair, son-in-law, John Drewery, daughter, Terrill Marie, son Keith Blanchard, grandchildren Sheralee and Brant Shepherd. She is survived by her daughters, Carolle Anne Blanchard and Rosalind Drewery, her son, Jean Paul Blanchard, grandchildren, Elizabeth and Henry Blanchard of Toronto, Florence Anne (nee Shepherd) (Robbie) Sanderson, Byron (Renee) Shepherd of Quebec, great-grandchildren Rebecca, Jennifer and Casey Sanderson and Livia and Mia Shepherd. Also surviving is long-time family member and friend, Earle (Carol) Shepherd, niece, Patricia Anne (nee LeClair) (Mike) O'Brien, sister-in-law, Mary Noonan of Richmond and many nieces and nephews, children of Walter and Mary Noonan. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home for visiting hours on Thursday, Jan. 20, 3 to 7 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at a later date at Immaculate Conception Church, Richmond, P.E.I.
