Blanchard
Mary Florence Blanchard (nee Noonan) passed away peacefully at the Beach Grove Home, Sunday Jan. 16, 2011 at the age of 92 years. She resided at 163 Dorchester St., Charlottetown for 55 years and is predeceased by her parents Thomas and Patricia (Laughlin) Noonan, her husband Sgt. Maj. Henry J. Blanchard, brother Walter Noonan of Richmond, sister Doris LeClair, son-in-law John Drewery, daughter Terrill Marie, son Keith Blanchard, grandchildren Sheralee and Brant Shepherd. She is survived by her daughters Carolle Anne Blanchard and Rosalind Drewery, her son Jean Paul Blanchard, grandchildren Elizabeth and Henry Blanchard of Toronto, Florence Anne (nee Shepherd) (Robbie) Sanderson, Byron (Renee) Shepherd of Quebec, great grandchildren Rebecca, Jennifer and Casey Sanderson and Livia and Mia Shepherd. Also surviving is long time family member and friend Earle (Carol) Shepherd, niece Patricia Anne (nee LeClair) (Mike) O'Brien, sister-in-law Mary Noonan of Richmond and many nieces and nephews, children of Walter and Mary Noonan. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the care givers of the Beach Grove Home for the exemplary care given to Florence. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home 35 Longworth Ave., Charlottetown, C1A 5A3 for visiting hours on Thursday, Jan. 20, 3-7 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at a later date at Immaculate Conception Church, Richmond P.E.I.
