Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, passed away peacefully at the age of 88 at Pine Grove Care Center in Kamloops, B.C. with daughter JoAnn Hitchcock and son-in-law Clive by her side.

Jo served overseas in the C.W.A.C from 1942 to 1945. Jo worked with Canada Post for many years retiring in 1982 to enjoy the good life with her husband George, and that they did, traveling around B.C. and the U.S. in their motorhome, playing golf and bingo.

Jo was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother and leaves behind; Son Thomas Windsor, Daughter JoAnn Hitchcock (Clive), Grandchildren; Lenni Kennedy (Darren), Cheryl Bird (Doug) and Ryan and Lindsay Windsor, Great Grandchildren; Shelby, Nick, Calum and Kaylee and of course her little buddy Maggie. We will all miss our Nana and GG.

Jo was predeceased by her former husband Tom Windsor (1969), her husband George Homenuke (2006), three brothers and her infant daughter, Lenni. We would like to thank Dr. R. Baker, Dr. Boughton, and the wonderful staff at Pine Grove Care Center. There will be no service by request from Jo.

Mom will be laid to rest at FOREST LAWN in Burnaby with her husband George.

In lieu of flowers, Mom asked that any donations be made to the Pine Grove Residents Society for future outings and activities, 313 McGowan Ave. Kamloops, B.C. V2B 2N8.
