(August 12, 1936 - January 17, 2011). Passed peacefully away in the presence of her children at Agnes Pratt Nursing Home, St. John's, Newfoundland, on Monday, January 17, 2011, aged 74 years. Predeceased by her parents, Nina and Eliol Stone of Trinity, NL. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Kathy Lewis (Trevor), David (Jennifer), Marnie (Jenn) and their father Fred Taylor (Joan Whelan); her grandchildren: Stephen, Michael and Jeanie Lewis and Andrew and Michelle Taylor; special family member Natasha Mercer; her sister Sylvia Tulk (John) of Minnesota; as well as a large circle of relatives and friends in Trinity, St. John's, Grand Falls and Florida, including the staff of Agnes Pratt Nursing Home, Lions Gate Manor, Placentia and Callingwood Downs, Clarke's Beach. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Wednesday, January 19th from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Thursday, January 20th from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. A service celebrating her life will be held at Caul's Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, January 21st at 11 a.m. Interment to take place at a later date in Trinity, NL.
