The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, January 20, 2011, of Anne "Maureen" McLure (nee Binns) of Summerside, P.E.I., age 76 years.
Maureen was born on January 3, 1935, in Leeds, England, to her late parents, Roy and Elsie Binns. Beloved wife of Chester and loving mother of Stephen (Marianne) of Kingston, ON., Zane (Sharon) of Moncton, N.B., and Lynda (James) Cameron of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Janice, Stephan, Mariah and Kyle McLure and Hunter Cameron. Survived by her brothers, Harry (Vera), Michael (Wendy) and Donald (Maureen) and her sister Betty Archer all of Yorkshire, England; her brother-in-law, John (Frances) McLure of Charlottetown and sister-in-law, Mae (John) MacDonald of Moncton, N.B.
Besides her parents, Maureen was predeceased by her son, Rick; brother, Tony Binns; sister, Wendy Kerr; and brother-in-law, Alan Archer.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Saturday, January 22, for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 3 p.m. Interment to take place at a later date in Cavendish Cemetery.
Visiting hours on Saturday afternoon from 2 p.m. until time of funeral service.
