WESTVILLE - Hannah "Diddie" Everena Taylor, 94, North Street, Westville, passed away on January 20, 2011 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born April 16, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Susan (Renef) Johnson.
She is survived by three sons: James (Muriel), Calgary, AB; Kent (Hazel), Dartmouth; Paul, Westville; daughter, Betty Mitchell (Fred), Westville; daughter-in-law, Janet Taylor, Westville; sister, Lily Mudd (Stanley) of Scotland; niece, Elaine Chabassol, Westville; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, George in 1990; son, Nelson; daughter, Margaret Booker; and son-in-law, Frederick Booker; sisters: Vera Chabassol (James); Rachael Campbell (Harold); Margaret Cody and Emily Johnson; brother, David Johnson and infant brother, Ernest Johnson.
Visitations will be held 2:30-4:30 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today (Saturday) at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Sunday at Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville, with Rev. Doug Pilsworth officiating. Cremation will follow. Interment will be in the Auburn Cemetery.
