WORTHMAN, Ellen L. (nee Taylor)- August 28, 1929 - January 20, 2011. Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, January 20, 2011, Ellen Worthman of Heart's Delight, aged 81 years. Predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Herbert (January 19, 2011), parents Harvey and Eva Taylor, sisters Evelyn Worthman, Bertha Worthman and Ivy Johnson, brothers Llewelyn and Ernest, son-in-law Jim Green and daughter-in-law Phyllis Worthman. Leaving to mourn with precious memories to celebrate her life with thanksgiving are her eight children: Irene Green (Jim), deceased), David (Betty), Lew (Linda), Mary (Tom) Upshall, Wayne (Wanda), Ivy Worthman, Evelyn (Paul) Reid, Jimmy (Kim); eighteen grandchildren and eighteen treasured great-grandchildren. She is also lovingly remembered by sister Floss Parrill, St. Anthony; two brothers: Elijah and Valen, both of Raleigh, White Bay, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at the SUF Lodge in Heart's Delight on Friday, January 21, 3:00 p.m. until time of funeral. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 22 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Matthew's Anglican Cemetery.
