It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother Ellen Augusta Quigley of Minto, NB, on Saturday, January 22nd, 2011 at the W.G. Bishop Nursing Home in Minto, NB. Born on May 29th, 1920 in Minto, NB, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Grace (Seymour) Barton and the wife of the late Gordon (Reid) Quigley. Ellen is survived by daughters Joyce Crawford (Ron) of Minto, Daphne Davidson (Ian) of Fredericton, Patsy Hay (John) of Sussex, Graceann Curran (Jerome) of Minto, June Mills of Minto, and Gordena DeVries (Rob) of Calgary; one son Winston Quigley (Florence) of Minto; a brother Clifford Barton of Ontario; 14 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a sister Evelyn Goodwin; brothers Edward and Roy; son-in-law Kenneth Cochrane and step-mother Celia Barton.
Resting at Hogg Funeral Services, 10 King Street, Minto NB, with visiting on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9PM. Funeral service will be held 2:00PM, Tuesday, January 25th, 2011, from the Trinity United Church in Minto.
