Peacefully, and surrounded by her family, at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011, of Elizabeth (Bessie) Folland nee (MacDonald) of Summerside, aged 98.
Born in Bedeque, P.E.I., on Oct. 12, 1912, to the late Ronald and Elizabeth MacDonald. Bessie was the last surviving member of her family. She is survived by her daughters, Theresa McIver, Joyce Rooney, Hellen Green, and son, John (Bud) Folland. Also survived by a sister-in-law, Eva MacDonald.
Remains resting at Lawless Funeral Home, Kinkora, for visitation on Tuesday, Jan. 25, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be Wednesday, Jan. 26, at 10 a.m. at St. Peter's Church in Seven Mile Bay. Interment will take place later in the parish cemetery.
Memorials in memory of Bessie may be made to the Prince County Hospital Foundation.
