Paul Cormier
Memramcook - Paul Cormier of Fox Creek passed away at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital on January 23, 2011 at the age of 72. Born in Old Shediac Rd, he was the son of the late Philias Cormier and the late Ruth LeBlanc. He worked at Assumption Life for 30 years until his retirement. He was the first president of Club de Roulottes Voyageurs de la Vallée. His pastimes included genealogy, horseshoes, snowmobiling, bowling, softball, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Bernice (Gaudet), his children, son Victor (Janice) Cormier of Dieppe and daughter Nadine (Jeff) Schnarr of England and four grandchildren: Catherine, Nicolas, Damian and Dominic. Also, four sisters, Angela (Edouard) Gould of Shediac, Marie (late Alfred) Boudreau, Florence (late Maxime) Cormier and Anita (late Fred) Melanson all of St-Joseph, one brother, Alphonse (Therese) Cormier of Dieppe and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by six sisters Evangeline, Alma, Beatrice, Pascaline, Alphonsine and Alice and by four brothers Andre, Joseph, Antoine and Leonard.
There will be no viewing before the funeral. Funeral mass will be held at Notre Dame de l'Annonciation church, Pre-D'en-Haut on Tuesday, January 25 at 4:00 pm.
