1934 - 2011 - Joe Mills, 76, of Moncton, NB, passed away on Sunday, January 23rd, 2011 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB. Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Olivier and the late Annie (née: LeBlanc) Mills. Mr. Mills had retired from Eastern Bakeries. He was a member of the Parkton Knights of Columbus, the Club d'Age d'Or, the Legion and a member of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce parish. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Noella (née: Belliveau); one daughter, Shirley (Sylvio) Roy of Moncton; one son, Maurice (Itimad Damdoumi) of Gatineau, QC; one sister, Victorine (John) Richard of Moncton; two brothers: Gerard (Lorraine) of Memramcook and Ronald (Bonnie) of Ontario; two sisters-in-law: Emma and Doris, both of Moncton; one daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Babin of Dieppe; three grandchildren: Julie (Marc), Chantal (Tony) and Michel; two great grandchildren: Stephanie and Dominic as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four sisters: Donalda, Phyllis, Stella and Lorraine and also by two brothers: Cail and Paul.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. No visitation on Friday. Funeral mass will be held from the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Roman Catholic Church, Moncton, NB on Friday, January 28th, 2011 at 11am. Interment in La Visitation Parish Cemetery, Grande-Digue, NB.
