HAMILTON, Rita (nee Beson) – May 21, 1916 - October 5, 2008. It is with great sadness that the families of the late Rita Hamilton (nee Beson) announce her passing at the Central Regional Newfoundland Health Centre at Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, aged 92. Predeceased by her husband, William; brothers, Lambert, Leonard, Allan, Walter, and Theodore; sister, Esther; grandson, Brian; sons-in-law, William Hatch and James Healey. Left to mourn with fond loving memories are sons, Ray (Claudette) of North Bay, ON, Reg (Marie) of Victoria, BC, Jim of Scarborough, ON, Lambert (Maureen) of Langley, BC, Bill Jr. of Edmonton, AB, Tom (Margaret) of Toronto, ON, John (Winnie) of Mount Pearl, NL; daughters, Yvonne (Steve Pottle) Healey of Stephenville, NL, Patricia Hatch of Toronto, ON, Margaret (Clyde) Brown, of St. John’s, NL, Catherine (Calvin) Hart of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Colleen (Gary) Heads of Kimberly, BC, Gail Hamilton of Bishops Falls, NL; brother, Jim Beson of AB; thirty-seven grandchildren, forty-two great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will take place Monday, October 6, 2008 at 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. The funeral service will take place Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at 10 am from The Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. Donations may be made to the Church Organ Fund.
