July 20, 1943 - July 3, 2009. Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, surrounded by his loving family on Friday, July 3, 2009, aged 65 years. Predeceased by his parents Thomas, February 29, 1968 and Alice, February 11, 1990. Leaving to mourn special cousins, Lorraine Thorne, Sandra Neary, Marilyn Ezekiel and Walter Somerton; special aunts Bertha Somerton and Beatrice Somerton; special friends Herb Thorne and family, Milton Rose, Len Collins and Bill Matthews as well as other family and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road from 2 - 9 p.m. on Sunday July 5 and 10 a.m. -9 p.m. on Monday, July 6. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 7 at 2 p.m, from St. Lawrence Anglican Church, Portugal Cove with interment to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Portugal Cove.
