1941- 2011- Passed peacefully away on Saturday, January 22nd, 2011 at the L.A. Miller Centre P.C.U. after a short illness, Veronica (Ron) F. Murphy, age 69 years. Predeceased by her son Kenny (1974); parents Patrick and Margaret (nee Doody); parents-in-law Jack and Amelia (nee Squires) Murphy; sisters-in-law: Eileen Neary, Florence Murphy, Mary Gladney; brothers-in-law: Bill Murphy, Jim Fitzpatrick; nephews: Eddie Fitzpatrick and Randy Neary; and niece Jackie MacAskill. Leaving to mourn her husband of 49 years John; daughter Joanne (Andrew Thorne); son Joe (Terri); grandsons: Jonathan and Patrick whom she dearly adored; brother Edward (Eileen); sister Joan Fitzpatrick; brothers-in-law: Leo (Annie) and Edward (Anna) and sister-in-law Marie; special friend: Marg Michelin, Wilomena Miller and Gail Gladney. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation from Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Monday from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Funeral Service will take place from Caul's Chapel on Tuesday, January 25th at 2 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date.
