John Goruick of Moose Jaw Sask., passed away peacefully on Friday July 3, 2009 at the age of 84 years. Predeceased by his sister Helen Goruick; wife Lois (nee Lindner); parents Fannie (nee Adamache) and Mike Goruick; brother George Goruick. John is survived by his sons:Ray (Karen) Goruick of Moose Jaw, Sask. and Brad Goruick of St. Albert AB; daughter Janet Goruick of Estevan, Sask; brother Bill (Shirley) Goruick of Assiniboia, Sask and his sister Doreen Goruick of Hamilton, Ont; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Paul's United Church, Assiniboia, Sask. Rev Neil Gilbert officiating. Interment to follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Assiniboia, Sask. Memorials in memory of John received for St. Paul's United Church or the Canadian Cancer Society.
