February 15, 1921 - January 23, 2011. Passed away at the Health Science Centre, retired 35 years from CBC Radio. Predeceased by parents John and Elizabeth (nee Barnes), sisters: Sybil Ruby (Gordon), Myrtle Walsh (Gus), Dorothy Squires (Loil) and nephew Doug. Survived by wife of 59 years, Mae (nee English); daughters: Beverley (Christopher), Roberta of Kingston, Ontario and Sandra, C.B.S. Also survived by beloved grandchildren: Jennifer, Anna, Adrienne and Brendan; special nieces and nephews: Elizabeth, Sylvia, Pat, Carol and Derek; as well as many other relatives and friends. A special thanks to the friends he made at the Dialysis Unit of the Waterford Hospital, both staff and patients. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Tuesday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 2 p.m. from Caul's Chapel. Interment to follow at the R.C. Cemetery, Topsail. Donations may be made in his name to the General Hospital Health Care Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
