We, the family of the late Alexander (Sandy) Matheson, wish to express our most sincere thanks to our families, friends and neighbors for their love and support. Your kindness will always be remembered. For the many prayers, phone calls, sympathy cards, monetary gifts, flowers, memorials, beautiful gifts of food, visits to our home and every act of kindness, you will be forever in our hearts. Thank you to Patten Funeral Home who gave us that extra special care, also Dr. PK Cadegan and staff of Glace Bay Hospital. Thank you to the Pallbearers, Robert Boutilier, David Murrant, David Murrant Jr., Chris Byrne, Brad Matheson and Keith Andrews. St. Paul's Choir, Alice MacLeod Organist and the ACW for the wonderful luncheon. A very special thank you to Rev. Judy Phillips and Rev. Vernon Reid for their support and prayers during Sandy's illness and to Rev. Reid for his beautiful message about Sandy's life and the love for his family. Thank you to readers, Joyce Peach, Christian Matheson, Lindsay Peach and my sister Linda Campbell who was always there with a meal and a shoulder to lean on. Thanks also to Sister Sylvia Bellefontaine for her care and concern for Sandy in Hospital and the beautiful words at his service.
