It is with our deepest "Thanks" that we acknowledge the family, friends, extended family and entire community who so graciously gave of themselves on Moms' behalf. We were humbled by your generosity in terms of time, food, money, memorial donations and emotional support during her stay in the hospital and eventual passing. Mom's lifelong care from Dr. Carlyle Chow was truly a blessing in her life as well as her familys' - knowing her unwavering faith in him. We were all so comforted by the care and compassion from Dr. Genge, Dr. Sutherland, the nursing staff and Palliative Care staff at the VCMH in Baddeck. In Moms' case, to say 'You Reap What You Sow' is most applicable by the graciousness, love, and dedication that so many of you returned to her in her later years, especially in the four years since Dad passed away. She certainly didn't expect it from any of you but appreciated it beyond words. The care from the Victoria County HomeCare staff was tremendous. Her private care from Pat, Linda, Betty, Doreen, Cathy and Ann Marie was truly a 'God Send' especially as most were even within walking distance of her home.
