Aurèle Gaudet, 77, formerly of O'Bon Soins Residence, Shediac passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at the Villa Providence in Shediac. Born in Barachois, he was the son of the late Alphonse and Hermine (Poirier) Gaudet. Prior to his retirement, Aurèle was employed at the Villa Providence Nursing Home. He is survived by two sisters: Adrienne Lirette (late Lionel) of Shediac and Bernadette Léger (Bert) of USA; four brothers: Abbé (Gloria) of Shediac, Henri (Hectorine) and Normand (Linda LeBlanc) both of Cormier Village and Léo of Robichaud. He is also survived by two brothers-in-law: Lionel LeBlanc and Ovila Gallant; a sister-in-law Jeanne Gaudet and by many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by two sisters: Noëlla LeBlanc and Albertine Gallant and by two brothers: Aquila and Roger Gaudet.
Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Thursday, from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m and Friday, from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure 10:10 a.m. Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 28, 2011 at Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac.
