Passed peacefully away at the Hoyles-Escasoni Home in St. John's, NL on Wednesday, January 26th, 2011, Lillian Mary (Benoit) Chaulk aged 87 years, of Corner Brook. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her sister, Annie Gaudon, brother, Michael Benoit, daughters: Lorraine Pumphrey (Gerry), Glenda Wells (Sid), Pauline Leonard (Laurie) and son Allan Chaulk (Lee Geddes), seven grandchildren Denise McInnis (Jim), Vanessa Allonby (Scott), Geoffrey Pumphrey (Sharon), Paul Wells (Susan), Victoria Wells, Laurie Leonard and Kevin Chaulk; five great- grandchildren: Mitchell Allonby, Marshall Allonby, Dylan Pumphrey, Brooke Pumphrey and Liam Pumphrey as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, brothers & sisters-in-law and many friends. She is predeceased by her husband Allan (Cherence) Chaulk, parents, Martha and Dennis Benoit, sisters: Mary Barry, Jean Benoit, Gloria Hynes, Nora Parsons, Isebella Alyward, Agnes Callahan, Tessie Companion, Clara Joyce and Christine Benoit, brothers: Duncan, James and Ignatious Benoit. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, Corner Brook on Thursday, January 27th, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. & Friday, January 28th, 2011 from 2-4p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at Most Holy Redeemer Cathedral, Mount Bernard Ave., 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 29th, 2011 with Monsignor Edwin Gale officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society. The family guest book may be signed or memorial donations may be made by visiting our website at www.country-haven.ca.
