Peacefully at her late residence on Wednesday, January 26, 2011, of Mrs. Eileen McCarville, RN (nee MacKinnon) of Charlottetown, age 89 years.
Beloved wife of the late John "Jack" McCarville, and dear mother of Anne McCarville, Donald McCarville, Moira Gildart (Peter), Ian McCarville, Tim McCarville and Mary McLellan (David). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Samuel (Chitaki) and Curt (Yuka) Gildart, Damian McCarville (Mindy), Aaron, Ben and Meghan McLellan, Adam and Ryan McCarville; daughter-in-law, Helena McCarville; and nephew, Barry Bowen.
She was predeceased by her parents, Daniel and Florence (nee Kelly) MacKinnon; brother, Hector MacKinnon; and sisters, Vera MacKinnon and Grace DesRoches.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 Monday morning, then to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment later in the family plot in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
Visiting hours at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 p.m.
