Olga Marie MacDonald, age 61, Salem, Pictou County, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2011 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Hugh R. and Myrtle (Garvin) Campbell, Westville, and a foster daughter of the late Adrian "Duckie" and Florence "Flossie" Campbell, Westville.
She was a member of the Church of the Holy Name, Westville. Olga was a loving wife and mother, who adored her grandchildren.
Olga will be sadly missed by her husband Burris; sons, Adrian (Rachael), Westville; Albert (Megan), Salem; grandchildren, Braydon and Colton. She is also survived by sisters, Charlotte Cech, Minnesota; Florence MacKenzie (Bill), Westville, Nora Harper (Joe), Truro; brother Francis (Cheryl), Lorne; and mother-in-law Florence MacDonald, sisters and brothers-in-law, Marion, Fern, Wayne, Gary, and Albert MacDonald.
She was predeceased by sister Isabel Duff; brothers, Charles, Malcolm, Keith, Hugh, Walter, Wilfred and Gerald Campbell and foster brothers Jack and Percy Campbell.
Visitations will be held Saturday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with Father Evo Dipierro officiating. Spring interment will be in Durham Cemetery.
