Passed peacefully away at the Glenbrook Lodge on Sunday, July 5, 2009, aged 96 years. Predeceased by husband Frank Barrett (1991), infant son David, sisters Laura Tulk and Winnie Tiller and brother Harry Tulk. Survived by daughter Elizabeth (Kevin) Kane; grandchildren Frank (Karen) Stevens, Janet (Daryl) Gates and Andrew (Evelyn) Kane; great-grandchildren Matthew, Brittany and Laura Stevens and Nathan and Naomi Gates. At her request, cremation has taken place. Visitation at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Tuesday, July 7, from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., and Wednesday, July 8, from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. No flowers by request.
