It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Frederick Fudger, 75, beloved husband and father on Monday, Jan. 31, 2011, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Saskatoon, Sask., Fred was the son of the late Frederick and Doris (Smith) Fudger. Fred worked as an air traffic controller with the Canadian Air Force until his retirement in 1983.
He is survived by his wife, Bridget (Dolomont) Fudger and only daughter, Anne Marie (Dr. Charles) MacLean, Fort Wayne, Indiana and three nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother, John Robert 'J.R.' Fudger.
There will be no visitation by request. Cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced at a later date by the W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant St., North Sydney.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Church Improvement Fund.
