Passed peacefully away after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer at the Dr. G.B Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville on Sunday, January 30, 2011 Verlie Humby of Summerville aged 53 years. Predeceased by her father Jabez Holloway and infant brother William. Left with fond and loving memories her husband Wayde Humby of 6 years, daughter; Angela Giles (Curt) of Clarenville, mother Velma Jane Holloway of Bloomfield, sister; Elsie Guy (George) of Lethbridge, one granddaughter Taylor Jane Giles and a large number of relatives and friends. Remains rested at the United Church in Summerville. Funeral took place on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 from the United Church in Summerville with interment at the United Cemetery in Summerville.
