It is with great sadness that the family of the late Laurita "Rita" Perry announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Monday, January 31, 2011 at the age of 98 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Thomas (Susan), daughters: Betty (Lowell) Sheppard and Jeanette (Wilmore) England, her grandchildren; Pamela (Robert) Kendrick, Laurie Bailey Park (Craig Danks), Brian Perry, Linda (Scott) Blanchard, Nancy-Ann (Kenneth) Pennell, Rodney England, Roger (Joleen) England, Robert England, Janice (Gavin) Stoodley, great grandchildren; Mandy Blanchard, Katie Danks, Kelly Pennell, Nicholas Danks, Courtney-Ann Bracken, Dustin Kendrick, Spencer Danks, Kaitlyn England, Joshua Blanchard, Rachel England, Jordan Blanchard, Emma-Lee Pennell, Spencer England, Abigail England, great-great grandchild Braydon Park, brothers; William (Elizabeth) Earl, Arthur (Diamond) Earl, Bert Earl, John Earl, sister-in-law Hazel (John) Earl as well as many nephews, nieces and extended family, so dear to her heart. She is predeceased by her husband Thomas Henry Perry in 1993, sisters; Beatrice (Jarvis) Higgens, Doris (John) Wells, Lillian May (Clayton) Darrigan. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at 2 p.m. with Wayne Hutchison officiating. Interment to follow at the Non Denominational Cemetery on Batstone's Road. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
