We, the family of the late Ella Baxendale wish to express our thanks to our family and friends who were so kind during our recent loss. To everyone who telephoned (including Dr Beth Mac Cormack) and visited our home, sent Mass cards, floral tributes, gifts of food, monetary gifts and memorial donations to various foundations and agencies in Ella\'s name, thank you. To those who visited the funeral home and attended her funeral, we are truly grateful. To everyone who travelled to be with us especially those from Florida, Ohio, Halifax, Dartmouth, Kentville, Antigonish and various parts of Cape Breton, thanks. Many thanks to Sr. Anne DiPersio for your hospital visit while Mum was in Halifax as well as attending her funeral. Thanks to Shannon for the \"meals on wheels\" and companionship while in Halifax, it was greatly appreciated. A special thanks you to Thom & Emily for relaying Mums medical update to her friends as well as the fantastic suppers at very difficult times when we returned home, it will never be forgotten! To Charlie Blackie, thanks for being the best roommate Mum ever had as well as to Abbey for her special visit, it certainly made Mums day! A special thank you to Cathy Gregory for keeping things running smoothly at home and having fresh food in our fridge when we returned from Halifax, it was greatly appreciated! To Dr. Doug Kohlsmith and Karen, thanks for the great care given Mum over the years. Thanks to Dr. M. Igoe and staff of 5 east of the Northside General Hospital as well as the staff of floor 6.2 of the QE2 Infirmary for the medical care. Thanks so much to Fathers Hugh MacNeil and Peter MacDonald for a lovely Mass, personal homily and words of comfort- you certainly helped alleviate many of the stressors for us, you will never be forgotten. To readers Shannon O\'Brien (niece) and Kim Langille (granddaughter) as well as gift bearers Thom and Emily Irvine, thanks so much. Thank you to Sharon Iannetti and the choir, Mass servers and Eucharistic ministers. Thanks are also extended to the Sydney Mines Seniors and Pensioners club for the use of the hall and lovely luncheon following Mums funeral Mass. To Manning Jobes and staff at J.M. Jobes Funeral Home, thank you for your professionalism, sincere kindness and thoughtfulness during this difficult time, we are truly gratefull, Mum will be missed but never forgotten!
