Gertrude Mary "Trudy" Verbieren - 89 of Kingston passed away Saturday, January 22, 2011 in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Amherst, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Lena (Cormier) Richard. Trudy loved her family and her friends. She loved the ocean and music. She loved to laugh and sing and she loved to cook. She loved cats and kittens. Trudy is survived by daughter Narda Verbieren, Kingston and her husband Frank who is a resident at the Veteran's Unit in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital and a cousin, Prima Davison, New Glasgow. She was predeceased by a daughter Dr. Dianne Rochelle Verbieren and a sister Edith. Cremation has taken place and by Trudy's request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Palliative Care Unit at Soldiers' Memorial Hospital.
