Ida Leclerc

Sister Ida Leclerc, in religion, Sister Camille-Marie, passed away on Monday January 31, 2011 at the Maison-mère des Religieuses Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur in Moncton, where she resided. She was 95 and in her 74th year of her religious profession. Born on August 20, 1915 in Drummond, NB, she was the daughter of the late Armand and Marie (Lebel) Leclerc. Besides her religious family, she is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the last survivor of her immediate family. She is predeceased by eight sisters: Alexina, Alice, Aurélie, Albertine and four infants, and six brothers: Alphonse, Lorenzo, Lysias, Rev. Camille, pd, Henri and Damien.
Remains will be resting at the Notre-Dame-d'Acadie Pavillion of the Maison-mère on King Street (Godfrey Lane entrance) on Thursday, February 3 from 2 to 9 p.m. and on Friday morning. Solemn Vespers will be held Thursday evening at 7 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 4, 2011 in the Maison-mère chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Memramcook.
