It is with great sadness that the family of the late George Salyzyn announce his sudden passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Monday, January 31, 2011 at the age of 78 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving and devoted wife Ivy (Watton); his son George (Sonya); daughter Debbie (Grant Smith); grandchildren: Christian & Haley Smith, Parker & Cameron Salyzyn; his sister Mary Jackson, and a number of other relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his parents Michael & Mary (Marcyniak) and his brother Steve. Cremation has taken place; no visitation at his request. Memorial service for family and close friends will be held Thursday, February 3rd, 2011 at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Townsite Anglican Cemetery.
