
Guy Cyr
Guy Cyr, 65, of Moncton, passed away on Sunday January 30, 2011 at his residence. Born on May 3, 1945 in Edmundston, NB, he was the son of the late Herman and Thérèse (Beaulieu) Cyr. Before his retirement, Guy worked for Canadian Heritage. He was a member of the Christ-Roi Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed spending time with his precious grandchildren, the company of his dogs «Cognac and Cesar» and relaxing on the beach. He is survived by his wife: Colette Cyr of Moncton; one daughter: Natalie (Ferguson) States (Craig) of Vancouver, BC; two sons: Marc (Nadia) of Moncton and Stefan (Dallas) of Milton, ON; one brother: Jean (Sylvia) of Edmundston; five grandchildren whom he adored: Isiah, Mia, Dimitry, Enrik and Nevaeh; one uncle, Benoit; three aunts:Denise, Gilberte and Gaëtanne. He was predeceased by one infant brother, Georges.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Monday February 7 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday February 8 from 9 a.m. until time of departure (9:45). Funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-d'Acadie R.C.
