Suddenly at his home in Toronto, on Sunday, January 30th, 2011. Predeceased by his wife Mary and son David and by his parents Richard and Delphine and by his sister Mary Elizabeth and brothers: Frank, Malcolm, Tom and Cyril. He is survived by his sister Flo. Will be very sadly missed by his children: Richard John (Linda), Sandra (Brian), Kathryn (Liger) and Sharon (Mark), and grandchildren: Erik (Tara), Effi, Talia, Tyler, Tarah, Matthew, Christopher and Sarah, as well as all of his relatives, friends and neighbours. As per his wishes, his body has been donated to science, and there will be no formal service. Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or St. Michael's Hospital.
