Gillespie
The death occurred peacefully, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Monday, Jan. 31, 2011, of Marion Gillespie, of Summerside, aged 79 years. Born in Brae, she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Grace (Sobey) MacPhee. Beloved wife of John "Jack" Gillespie; loving mother of son Dennis (Jill) Brunton, Ottawa, ON; and grandmother to Dylan, California and Tyler, Vancouver, BC. Fondly remembered by sisters Marjorie MacKay and Audrey (Alden) Weeks, O'Leary; step-daughters Julie Dugay, Charlottetown, and Jackie (Chad) Picot, Barrie, ON; and by several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date. No visiting hours by personal request. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside.
