Eileen Mary Kettle
December 8th, 1924 - January 28th, 2011

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eileen Mary Kettle announces her sudden passing on Friday January 28, 2011 at her residence in Port aux Basques at the age of 86 years. She was predeceased by her father and mother, Thomas and Bessie Blackmore, her husband Llewellyn in 2000. Brothers; Fred Blackmore, Howard Blackmore, and Enos Blackmore. Sisters; Genevieve Gardner, Mildred Drake, Lavinia Tucker, Shirley Harris. Brother in laws; Fred Pink, Gerald Matthews, William Drake, Bernard Gardner, Arthur Tucker, Joe Harris, and sister in law Jessie Blackmore. She leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories her loving family; sons, Howard (Pat) Victoria BC, Calvin (Lorraine) Port aux Basques. Grandchildren; Danny Kettle, Nikki (Glenn) Ramage, Glenn (Denise) Kettle, Wendy (Dean) Boutilier. Great grandchildren; Nicholas, Dan, Samuel, Kyra, Courtney, Tamara, Theresa. Sisters; Marie Pink Dartmouth NS, Barbara Matthews Port aux Basques. Sister in law, Shirley Blackmore Port aux Basques, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, and many friends. Visitation took place on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at East Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services took place on Tuesday February 1, 2 PM at St. James Anglican Church, Channel officiated by Rev. Hannah Dicks. Interment followed at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill.
