The passing of Glen K. Kilburn of Stanley, NB formerly of Maugerville and Kingsclear, NB occurred on Monday, January 31, 2011 at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital. He was 73. Born in Kingsclear, NB, Glen worked on the family farm and a member of the Hillcrest United Church. Survived by his loving family Barb Dickeson (Dale), Sheila Currie (Joe), Charlotte Endall (Brent), Nancy Stewart, Gerald MacKay (Linda), Keith Kilburn (Paula), Cathy Kilburn, Donald Kilburn, and Josephine Kilburn, as well as special caregiver Geraldine Wilkins. Predeceased by family members Thelma and Elwood Currie, Irving Kilburn, Goldie Kilburn, Frank and Zella Kilburn, Lorraine Webb, Trisha Webb, Joey and Stevie Dickeson.
Although there will be no visitation, a funeral service will be held on Friday February 4, 2011 from Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel at 2 PM with Rev. Wally Ellis officiating. Interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Hillcrest United Church.
