Kathleen “Peg” Gallagher
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Peg, on Sunday, July 5th, 2009 at the age of 83 years. Peg was born on October 13th, 1925 in Macoun, Saskatchewan. She was predeceased by her parents George and Irene Stark; her brother Bob Stark; and her great-grandson Noah Gallagher. Peg will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 65 years Gratton (Pat); her five children Jim (Carol) of Tugaske, Frank (Myrna) of High River, AB., Faye (Bob) Baht of Moose Jaw, Carole (Fred) Kainberger of Battleford and Kathy (Lonnie) Anderson of Marquis; 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; four brothers Jim, Ken, Keith and Chuck Stark; four sisters Anne Gilroy, Georgina Mark, Jean Geiger and Audrey MacDonald; and numerous other relatives. Special thanks to all Extendicare staff for the wonderful care they gave Mom. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Peg’s memory may be made to The Arthritis Society, 110 – 2550 12th Ave., Regina, Sask. S4P 3X1. The Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday, July 8th, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. A celebration of Peg’s life will be held on Thursday, July 9th, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in Church of Our Lady Roman Catholic Church in Moose Jaw. Interment will be in Tugaske Cemetery with a Fellowship gathering at the Tugaske Community Hall. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.
