It is with deepest sadness and regret that we must announce the death of Eric Allister Morrison. He passed away in his Dartmouth home on Feb. 2, 2011.
Eric is survived by his loving parents, Fran and Bill; two older sisters, Jennifer (Michael Stainton) and Diane Morrison.
He will always be remembered as a kind hearted boy who was able to get into some harmless mischief with his many friends. He was a special man with a wonderful outlook on the world and was always willing to help anyone in need.
Eric's one true love was hockey. He played hockey for most of his life, including his last days with his very best friend, Sean Edwards. It takes a special kind of person to stand in a goalie net with pucks flying at you and to stand in the way of them to protect his net - this is the same approach he had with his family and friends.
He had a gentle soul that gave him a special way with animals.
A service will be held at Mattatall Funeral Home in Dartmouth, cremation to follow.
Donations can be made in honour of Eric to suicide prevention or the charity of your choice.
