1928-2011 - SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT - Thérèse Martin, 82, wife of the late Aldéric Martin, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer at the Stella Maris Hospital in Ste-Anne-de-Kent on Feb. 3, 2011. Born in Cap St-Louis, she was the daughter of the late Isidore and Marianne (Vautour) Robichaud. Thresa (as she was commonly known) will be sadly missed by two sons; Adrien (Andréa) of Dieppe and Roger (Linda) of Richibucto, three daughters; Maria (Anthony) Vautour of Saint-Louis de Kent, Ginette (Derek) Martin-Hicks of Irishtown and Nicole of Sussex, ten grand-children; Robert, Michelle, Daniel, Paul, Christine, Denis, Jocelyne, David, Manuel and Simon and three great-grand-children; Tommy, Matthew and Stephen. She is also survived by one brother Alyre of Aldouane, two sisters; Jeannine Comeau and Evélyne Robichaud of Saint-Louis-de-Kent, several nephews and nieces and her special friend Alphonse Daigle of Aldouane. She was predeceased by her eldest daughter; Dianna Richard, two brothers; Clarence and Benoit and three sisters; Adrienne Surette, Sémida Landry and Maria Allain.
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home in Saint-Louis-de-Kent with visitation on Sunday February 6, 2011 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Monday from 2 pm until time of funeral to be held in the St-Louis-des-Français Catholic Church in Saint-Louis de Kent at 4 pm.
