Frances Isabel Olson (nee Cave), aged 89 years of Moose Jaw, SK., passed away peacefully February 3rd, 2011 at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital. Isabel was born in Moose Jaw on August 21st, 1921. She lived her whole life in Moose Jaw, marrying Ray Olson in 1941. They raised their family of 5 children together. She was predeceased by her mother, Frances; father, Charles; her husband, Raymond; brother, Chisholm and son-in-law, Arnold Carver. Isabel is survived by her children, Lillian Carver, Ron (Kathleen), Murray (Susan), Frances (Bruce) Maher and Darren (Dawn); 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Lillian Cutts, brother, Jack (Eileen) Cave and sister-in-law, Blanche Cave. Isabel will be greatly missed by family and many friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Mulberry Estates, Chez Nous, Dr. Wigmore and the staff on the 1st floor at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital and emergency unit for all their compassionate care. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 10th, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Reverend Allen Doerksen will officiate and interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.
