1963 - 2011 - J. Romuald Mallais of Moncton, passed away suddenly in a tragic accident on Thursday, February 3rd, 2011 at the age of 47. Born in Riviere du Portage, he was the son of Florence (Vienneau) Mallais and the late Alphee Mallais. Romuald excelled in various positions in the Restaurant Industry for many years and will be fondly remembered by many of his clientele. Besides his mother, Florence, he will be sadly missed by sisters, Rejeanne Cormier (Dave) of Moncton, Chantal Mallais (Gary Pittman) of Shemogue and Florentine Mallais (Darryl Diablo) of Montreal; brothers Reginald (Marjorie) of Miramichi, Wilfred (Iris) and Florent (Dorina Bastarache) both of Moncton; nephews Jean-Guy, Mike, Guillaume and Jacques and families and niece, Isabelle Gaudet Mallais all of Moncton. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brother Eulas and his best friend of 25 years, Robert Gautreau. We will miss him dearly and keep him in our hearts
surrounded with love. We are thankful he has found peace.
Visitation will be held at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Monday February 7, 2011 from 1pm to 2pm only. Funeral Service will follow immediately in the Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel.
